Welcome to IIT
Interactive Information Technology at the University of Hartford

Interactive Information Technology (IIT) is the newest and most unique program at the University of Hartford. Combining academics from multiple disciplines, the IIT program is meant for students who want to learn how to use and develop technologies that fit into today's wired world.

Because people encounter technology in hundreds of different ways each day, often without knowing it, there is an increasing demand for individuals who can develop applications that people can easily use. Technology should make life easier, not harder. Because IIT is about more than teaching programming skills, students graduate with a solid understanding of all the aspects that make up a good application, interface, or website. IIT students emerge well-rounded and with the whole range of abilities needed to succeed as a vital member of a team.
